During Wednesday’s class we looked at several scenarios regarding learning and began to explore the concept of immersion. In a perfect world, if you could choose a unit of study to try immersion with, what resources would you need? Choose a unit/topic and post a list of at least ten resources you would like to have (it doesn’t have to just be books).

During our first class you were asked to remember yourself as a middle schooler. Think back to your experiences as a student. When were you most engaged as a learner? Was it a particular class or teacher? A particular book or assignment? Now think about the opposite side. What made you “tune out” as a learner? What could have helped you become more engaged?
